Ok, its happening! The first family planning meeting for the July trip. Believe it or not there were no arguments, disagreements or "but I wanna's" during the whole meeting...and that is a record in itself.

We're going on July 20th and staying until the 26th at the CBR which is my favorite. Last year we toured the more expensive resorts and decided that:
A: The GF is not for us
and
B: We only sleep at the hotel anyway but want the Disney Magic. The CBR has everything we need and its time to share it with the family.

Already we are talking about a breakfast for the youngin's..ok me too...at Chef Mickey's and lunch at the Prime Time. The daughter unit has tapped good ol' dad for a lunch at the French Restaurant at Epcot so she can order in French (do I really want a succulent oven broiled tractor...maybe a little more help in French class is needed) and then there is the horseback riding. That is a wonderful break from the hustle of the parks.

Yes, its a long way off but I am already counting down the days.

I'm so gald to read your post....I thought it was just me.

This March we will be visiting my sister in South Carolina and just decided to take a side trip and visit WDW too and I diden't think we would be back to the world until Dec 2005. wooohooo!!!

The wheels in my head are already turning......I'm so glad to see someone else that plans ahead.

Enjoy your planning as much as your trip.

It may seem like a long way off, but it'll go fast! Enjoy your planning, it's so much fun!

yup, I feel your pain! My clock started in the 220's. I've been planning since day one. It's amazing how fast the clock tick's down, though.

Hey,
Don't feel like thelone ranger I am still planning for our trip NEXT CHRISTMAS. I enjoy planning almost as much as the trip.:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

It's good to know that I'm not the only one that plans very early in advance! This is going to be our first trip to WDW and with all of the available information of where to stay, when to go, how to save, etc..., it gets overwhelming! But, it's also fun, too! I'm learning a lot but still there's much more to learn. My DW and I are torn on where to stay. Since this may be our only trip in a while, we want to make the most of it. That being said, we have narrowed our hotel choices between AKL, CSR, and CBR. I know this question probably doesn't belong here but what would you WDW veterans suggest?
