My husband and I visited all 4 parks over this past weekend - MGM and MK on Saturday and AK and Epcot on Sunday. We never once saw the Dream Team. I was hoping to at least see them even if we didn't win anything. I did see people in each park with the Dream Fastpasses.

We won Dream Fastpasses at Epcot on Sunday at Mission:Space. Sorry you guys didn't see them.

You only went on the weekend!! :rotfl2: Try going for 14 days and only getting a slight glimse of them or everytime you get on an attraction the group in front of you just got a dream award. That would cover my October trip. And my friends from NY never got any dream action during their 8 day visit. Of course, we heard lots of stories about others, we were never in the right place at the right time it seems. Oh well!

We were at MK on Saturday and saw lots of Dream Team members. We got Fast Passes on Buzz, and saw a lady with Moments certificates when we got off Peter Pan. We also saw alot of them walking around. We saw Alice and the Mad Hatter on the Tea Cups with a teen age girl, too.

We were there from 1/18 - 1/22 and didn't see any Dream Team members at all. They were there because we saw lots of people with fastpasses and ears, but never actually saw anyone awarded anything. :confused3

We got dream fastpasses on 1/16 after getting off of Peter Pan. It was our first day of our trip and within the very first hour we were in the park. Never saw the dream team again. Did get a free mickey ice cream bar for my DS and he played in several games. We felt lucky. I think less than 10% actually win anything at all.

We were there Nov/Dec for 10 days and never saw the dream team or anyone receiving anything. I was looking out as well and we were in the parks an awful lot too!!

We were there Jan. 12-21 and this is what we got:
- Sat. @ MK a private meeting w/Cinderella(got pics and autographs)
-Sat. night MK-6yr dd asked to be the cruise director on "It's A Small World" and received dream certificate.
-Sun. night @Cantina restaurant in Mexico the CM liked my dd's t-shirt and gave her a drink.
-Sun. @ MGM-the CM asked our group if we would sing the beginning and ending of the Mickey Mouse Club, he would take us thru the back door and put us right on the movie ride.
-Wed. @ MGM-we were shopping and a dream mbr(dressed in the plaid vest) asked my dd to ring the basket w/the ball and gave her a tinkerbell certificate that said she had rang the basket 10 times.
-my dd got to be a cruise director a 2nd time in the trip.

So, we received 3 certificates. I did hear of a couple that got to go to the parks for 3hrs before opening by themselves. I was on the look out for the dream team the whole time and I saw them everywhere. I would be like right in front of them being so nice hoping to get something. Hoping for some more dreams in Sept.

When we were there in November we saw them in all the parks, but unless you know what they look like and such, we noticed that a lot of them were pretty inconspicuous. One dream team member started talking to us in Epcot, but alas, did not give us anything. LoL. Go figure. We didn't expect to get anything, therefore we weren't disappointed. Besides, we never win anything-ever. LoL. :)

What do they wear? This is exactly why I'm not telling my kids about it, if we get something AWESOME, but I don't want them to feel let down, the little they know the better. :thumbsup2

...and you won't see them.

They travel exclusively backstage [where available] when in "prize mode" and, when on stage, act only as greeters.

Okay...see if I have tis right? They are not dressed different than other CMs. They are normally greeters. Someone mentioned a plaid vest..what did that mean (a greeter vest I am guessing). So really the only way you know who they are is if you win something OR you see someone else win something? Like everyone else here, I would love to win something! We will see, if not good luck to all of you!:woohoo:

But when you do see "greeters" with black messenger bags wearing a light blue shirt with dark blue pants well then you are talking to a dream team member. Most times though they are just in greeter mode but they can grant magical moments - for example my daughter and husband were talking to a greeter named Rachel who upon hearing that my daughter hasn't seen the stretch room at Haunted Mansion since she was 4 or 5 (she's in a wheelchair) arranged a special viewing just for my daughter and husband. Rachel spoke with the CM at Haunted Mansion and she took them in through a special hallway, they were in the stretch room alone with the CM and then took them back out. It was a "magical moment."

We were in Animal Kingdom on the Pagani Trail on Monday and there were three of them. At first I thought they were photopass. I even started to get out my photopass but then I realized who they were. I was hoping we would get something but they gave Dreampasses to the people right behind us. I remember they were wearing alot of white.

We just returned yesterday from an 8 day trip and we did see the Dream Team many times, but more often at the Magic Kingdom. As a matter of fact we were slightly lost in MK and asked them for directions not knowing who they were. We spoke to them and answered their questions for at least ten minutes. There were two of them. While we were talking, one of them would step off and talk to another patron walking through the park and would usually give them something or write their name on a clipboard. I assume they were giving dreams, but none to us. They may have been giving admission to the Pirates and Princess Party that was going on that evening. Later that day we saw and spoke to them again; only chit chat about what we had done that day.

Other encounters: We saw a family in front of us at AK have their lunch paid for, many dream fast passes at Epcot and my son-in-law received a pass to go to the front of Rock'n Rollercoaster and ride in the first car. We didn't see a lot of cloud ears walking around.

All in all, the trip was special to us for the simple fact we were all together.

We also got the FastPasses on Buzz last Saturday AM. It was only my son and I, Dh and girls were on Space Mountain so the whole family didn't get them (they were all gone by the time they made it over). But it was still cool. Other than that, the family next to us checking in won Family of the Day at SSR. We saw one Dream Team CM waiting with us for a raft back from Tom Sawyer Island, but it didn't appear that anyone won anything from her. Oh well, even a week at WDW without a major dream is better than a week at home!

:sad2:

We were at Disney 10 days last October. My family of three dressed in our matching shirts.....hoping to be spoted by the Dream Team.....but no luck. :confused3

Hoping to go back again this October and give it another shot!! With a little pixie dust:wizard: , I'm still dreaming of spending the night in the castle!!!:cloud9:

I will admit though, I've enjoyed reading about the dreams others have experienced....and surprised too at how so many have received multiple dreams come true!!

Just as a heads up when we booked today my DH was chatting with the CM for a long while (he does that) and she told him that when we go to look for the CM's with the yellow lanyards. That they were the ones who would give out the dreams.
He has very high hopes to get a dream because we will be there for his 30th b-day, my ydd's 4th b-day and my ods's 3rd b-day(and that is entered as part of our ressies). My DH and my ydd share their b-day too so we will be doing lots of celebrating! LOL
We will see though. He's that kind of guy that does get those things so I wouldn't be surprised if he or one of the kids got something.

I would probably freak if we got something like the night in the castle. What an unbeatable expirence!

We were at Disney for 10 days and never saw them either. Maybe we'll see them in a couple of weeks!:)
