Our Sunday School class, for those with kids in school, has recently had three couples with older kids discover they are pregnant. It must be because of all those summer garage sales !

Jenn Lynn....I must be right at one month along. My last period was in May and I can remember DH and I actually counting the days to see if we were still in the "safe" zone. We were always using birth control and only being intimate during the "safe" times.

This will just have to go down as one of those "meant to be" things.

Now I have to find a way to eat my "We are definitely done....Our family is complete...." words....

Congratulations! It's OK, the newer stuff is always a lot cooler. And you know what you DON'T need that you may have had the first time--none of my kids had much use for a bouncy seat, and a wipe warmer? Come on!
I got rid of the swing and stroller after DD#2 so DS got cooler stuff--the old swing was LOUD when you wound it up, the newer one was batteries and oh so quiet--but he really didn't like it anyhow.
Needless to say, the day after I had DS I had the doctor make darn sure he was the baby of the family!

Have fun shopping for maternity clothes. There are so many more cute things out there now. I lived in the Maternity sections at Target, Kohls, and Sears. Also a HUGE fan of Motherhood Maternity. Enjoy!

We moved last August and DH was insisting we get rid of DD's baby stuff - car seats, clothes, bassinet, stroller, walker, etc.
I was reluctant and packed it all and put it in a small corner in the basement
We closed on our house end of August & I get pregnant in October so I am sure glad I kept everything.

There were 14 years between my two, so I had to start all over again also. But, as RocknRobin said, the new things are way cooler (and some of them had not even been invented for the first). It just gave me another excuse to go shopping!

Shannon....I know....I found out on Sunday....then yesterday all of these things kept flooding my mind of what changes would have to be made....we may even have to hurry up the addition to the house if it's a girl...but one that actually made me start crying was changing my username and my email address....the pregnancy hormones are in FULL swing already!

Robin....I never did have one of those wipe warmers but always wanted one....until a good friend told me that they always scorched the last few wipes....and we had one of those really nice quiet battery-operated swings....my kids always loved it....it was perfect for buying me some extra time to make dinner.

Pembo...we have 4 children right now, Nicholas (8), Katelyn (6), Jennifer (4), & Zachary (2)....this will be #5.....

So they'll still be close in age.....but FIVE CHILDREN!! Wow....where's all my DISers with 5-6 children to give me some advice and encouragement?????

Congratulations!!! I'd help you out with baby things but my baby is 14 and we got rid of his stuff years ago.......luckily the stork never again found our house!!!
