I wore the croakies type glasses strap FOR YEARS and love it....then in line at WDW I saw someone wearing these....It's called Cablz, and I was instantly a believer!!! They are so much lighter than Croakies, dont absorb sweat and such:scared:, and have just been great. oh, and once you put them on, they stay!!! NEVER SLIP OFF!!

I was able to find them at Academy for about $10.00. i'm a fireman and wear my sunglasses all day long, and i can vouchfor these. 2 trips to WDW and a Colorado trip......I've never lost my glasses!!:thumbsup2 The website is http://www.cablz.com/

p.s.: apparently they have a pink line for women now too!!

I'm not a paid spokesman, i assure you...just wanted to let you know about this great find!

I hate having anything around my neck but really need something to help me keep up with my sunglasses at WDW, this looks very lightweight and comfortable. Thanks for sharing! :)

I might have to order some for my teen granddaughter...She has the tendancy to "misplace" things:)

I just bought these the other day at Academy. Overall they are great. One slight complaint. My 5 yr old daughter loves to get on my shoulders at times. I can see her doing this alot for our trip in May. But when she does the cable is so stiff that it pushes the glasses off of my face.

Still like them but that's the one drawback I have found.

They make ones called Monoz which are blue monofilament (fishing line basically). I wonder if these are as stiff as the originals both you and I use?

That is a great idea! I'll have to look for some. I had borrowed some that were a similar variety and lost them anyway at POP. Bought some at the gift shop - just regular sunglasses - so far still have them but if I need a new pair I know where to look. :)

I was recently at AKL and at the pool they were having a Disney quiz for the kids - one of the questions was "How many pairs of sunglasses are turned into the lost and found at WDW every day?" I think the answer was something like 289!!

Thanks for the heads up on these they are SO much better looking than the one that DH insists on wearing on the boat. I will definitely pick one up for him and probably one for me for my sunglasses they look great!

Thank you for the great idea!! I was looking for something along this line. Perfect timing!!:thumbsup2

I saw another brand, Chums, when we were there this past February. I found them at Dick's Sporting Goods and picked them up. So far, so good. I like them a lot better then the eyeglass straps that are made of materials.

We will definitely look into these! DH lost a really expensive pair of Maui Jim sunglasses in the water at IASW when the boat behind us bumped into our boat. They fell right off his head into the water and we rode 5 times in a row with a CM that had a grabber to retrieve them but we never found them!:( These would be perfect for him!
