I love my DH, I do, but he is not a big Disney fan. He goes when I make him pirate: But he is mostly happier when I go by myself or with other's. So when I asked, begged and hinted heavily :rotfl: that this year I really wanted to go to the MToT (like I have asked for the last few years), he gave in and bought the tickets as part of my B-day treat.

So he buys the tickets and says ok we are on. YEAH! Then when I asked the date he says the 26th, that seems odd from what I have seen, but I accept it. I again get a weird feeling and ask him to double check. He reads me the email and says yes Sunday the 26th. Last night still feeling wrong about it, I look at the official site and see the days of the week the event is held do NOT include Sundays. I go to bed freaked out wondering what in the heck did my DH buy?

This morning DH wakes me to tell me he found the problem. It seems that unlike a normal person he did not go to the official site he opened the first listing on google and purchased the tickets for Sunday the 26th...... at WDW!!!!!!!

Sure we have family in FL but that is not practical at all! So thank goodness the guy he got the tickets from was very understanding, let him return the tickets and he was able to get us tickets for the DLR event and we are now going the 29th. I am so happy I double and triple checked on this or I would have been very sad and he would have been in a lot of trouble :lmao:

So lesson learned Dis fans should always make the plans or you might end up in the wrong park :)

:rotfl2: now that was funny!! Im so glad you got it sorted though..I would have felt bad for your DH but no judge/jury in this country would have convicted you for what you would end up doing to him had he not been able to fix it

OH MY! Thats kinda funny but also really scary. I am glad you got things sorted out and that Disney was able to sort things out for you and give you your money back. Its great that you are still able to go. What a fun birthday present :thumbsup2 Your lucky, your husband has some wonderful intentions for you.

Oh - No....glad you got it all sorted, kinda shame that you couldn't swing a trip to WDW instead though - that would make a nice birthday treat! :goodvibes

Glad its all sorted now though, and hope you have a great time.

I dunno. One of the people I'm going to San Diego with just said she didn't want to do any "kid things" like SeaWorld or the Zoo (and Disney was included in there) during the trip because it'll be all adults so we should do grownup stuff! So if she were on the jury, she'd cause a problem.

I'm glad you listened to your instincts and checked the site! And I'm glad hubby was able to return those tix! A listing on google vs typing disneyland.com? Crazy man.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I can laugh about it since it all worked out. Seriously, that is pretty funny and would be something my dh would do *if* he could ever be convinced to go to MToT, which is very doubtful. So points to your dh for trying, and big points to both of you for figuring out the error in time to fix it!!

Heather: I'm glad it all worked out. Can you imagine if you hadn't checked and showed up on the 26th?????

Oh man, I'm soooooooooooooo glad you got that fixed!! WTG checking those dates.....altho a trip to WDW for your birthday would have nice too! LOL

I can imagine we would have had some confused looks showing up all dressed up in costume on Sunday. I am super glad I checked it out though or I would have been a little sad.

And don't worry I am working towards a WDW trip next year for my B-day with the free birthday admission it might be worth it! ;) Though finding out Adventure's Club closed is seriously bumming me out.
