Never got member card -- leaving next week

When my contract closed last fall, I called them to say I didn't get my member cards and was told they were coming. I didn't think about it again until I went to find them yesterday, couldn't, then remembered we didn't get them.

I called member services and was told it was too late to mail them to us for this trip. I asked if I could get them at check in and she said I'd have to go all the way to Saratoga Springs to get them. I don't have to say how incredibly inconvenient that would be for us staying at the BLT without a rental car.

I was panicking a little and she put me on hold then came back a while later and said they could do it right there at the BLT desk. That sounded a bit odd considering she'd just insisted I had to go to SSR.

My question to you good people is this: have you recently had to get new ID cards and where did you get them? Thanks much.

I ran into the same problem when we took our first DVC trip. We had to go to the DVC welcome/member center to get cards. Luckily our trip was at DL so the member center was not too far away. I don't think they will be able to help you at the front desk, but things sometimes change unexpectedly. Good luck and enjoy your trip!

Doesn't sound correct to me.

If you need to go to SSR to get the cards, you can take the monorail to the TTC, bus to SSR and the reverse to get back to BLT.

Another option is to go to dinner at DTD after picking up the cards, then bus back to BLT.

I remember hearing that the DVC desk on the 4th floor on the Contemporary could print DVC member cards. Not sure if that is true or not.

You can get new cards at BLT.

I was also told to go to SSR by Member Services.

Then, while getting my annual pass at International Gateway, the CM at IG told me that I could get a new card at BLT - I had my card number with me to pick up my tickets and was afraid that would not be enough. Lost my card - probably in one of my 600 purses.

When you check in at BLT, there is a desk on the north side of the room with a phone on it. (Check in is at the desks on the south side.)

Pick up the phone and tell them you need a card.

Sometimes there is a person at the desk.

I did this just 3 weeks ago. I had to stand and wait maybe 2 minutes before someone walked down the hall and handed me a new card.

The two places to get a new member card at WDW are Saratoga and BLT.

Update -- I was able to get the cards at the BLT DVC desk. They were open till 5pm. I got mine upon arrival and I sent hubby down the next morning with his ID to get his. The woman ordered them and someone walked them down the hallway to us about two minutes later. You guys are right on, thanks.
