Never enough time

I'm not a busy person but it seems like I never have enough time to do anything. I work f/t, take 2 courses at Penn State, and am training for a marathon. That's it! Why does it seem like I'm too busy to do anything? :confused3

I don't know how people manage to get so much done in a day when I'm struggling with the few things I have to do.

Honestly,I have no idea where my time goes or why I'm so busy when I'm really not busy.

I'm single with no kids and I never have any time! I get up at 6:00-6:30 to read or take care of bill stuff, shower and get ready for work, work all day, take my dog on a 3 mile walk when I get home, make dinner, clean something every day (whether it's the shower, car, wash sheets, etc.), cook or bake stuff for lunches/snacks the next day, change into running clothes, go to the gym/run outside/or run on the treadmill, take a shower, get in bed by 11-11:30 p.m and either read, watch TV, or crash! But I do have to say that all of my time outside of work is doing things I really enjoy doing but it just seems like I get home from work and then it's 11 p.m. I'm really enjoying it though 'cause I can't imagine what it'd be like to fit a husband and/or kids into my schedule.

I'm in the same boat! But I think a lot of people feel like they never have any time. My Dad does and he only works 2-3 months out of the year :rotfl:.

On paper it looks like I just have a job, take my dog for a walk, and run. I bet if you actually wrote out what you do in a typical day you'd see why you never have any time.

Maybe you fritter it all away on the DIS:lmao: (I am on the DIS as much as you--please take this in the light hearted way it is intended--that said I DO get more done when the internet is down:rolleyes1)

You are joking right:confused3
my hubby runs, he usually runs the boston marathon, when he is in training mode I feel like I never see him, he is always running.........LOL
and he works full time!
those two things alone are enough to keep someone busy.

OOps, I'm training for the Half in January. In the final stages of the C25K which is only about 45 minutes total including warmup, running, and cool down and stretching. Plus, 20 minutes or so driving to the park where we run.

I'm considering moving the running to the early AM before work but I'm too lazy to get out of bed that early. lol
