OMG, I can SSOOO relate.
We were there Aug. 3rd to 6th and it was HOT!!!
Every moring when I put on my make-up I always wondered why I was bothering, it all dripped off within 30 minutes. We even gave away our EE Fast Pass because it was too hot to wait for the last hour before we could use it. We did sit through the Summer Concert series with Elton John and I felt ssooo bad for him, it was 103 :scared1: that day and he had several costume changes.

just got back yesterday, after a stay from aug 7th to aug 11th...I will never, never, never, go in august again..it was toooo hot to enjoy we were wiped out by noon...I usually dont mind crowds, or walking (I walk 4 miles a day at home anyway) but this was too much..they said it was 110 with the heat index..couldn't breath
we waited for the stunt show at mgm for over an hour...I'm glad we did it though, cause I'll never do it twice.
the worst part was, it didn't even cool off at night or in the morning, it was stiffling from start to finish, and not to complain about no rain, but maybe that would have at least cooled it off a bit...

OH MY!!!! I'm so sorry your trip to WDW was ruined by crowds and heat!!! I have to admit I had the opportunity to go last summer in Aug. and declined because i knew the heat and crowds would be too much for me...Considering all the money, time and planning that is spent for a wdw vacation I feel terrible you looked forward to being in your air condition room more than spending time at the parks!!!

Last Aug we went the 13th thru 22 and it was not as bad as you all are talking about but it was hot. I don't think it was in the 100's either and the crowds were not HORRENDOUS but def different than our 2005 Sept-Oct vacation.

I would love to say I could always do a week in Sept-Oct but as a teacher I know that is not going to be possible every year.

I didn't mind Spring Break this year in March...although I thought it was a little COLD.!!! :confused3

We wore sweats and socks all week....just not used to Disney not being hot as heck...kwim??

I think we are doing another Mar trip in 08

We're here now and I'm beginning to agree. We did do EMH at MK last night and stayed until 1:30 am - that was fairly pleasant and the crowds were amazingly low. DH has done the parks during the day but DD and I have stuck with Disney Quest and Stormalong Bay. Too hot for anything else imho.

Years back we went to Disney twice on day trips, one year to magic kingdom and one year to MGM. It was June and was soooo hot and crowded I vowed never to go back during the summer months. Now one year we went to universal during the summer, it was busy but we had a blast and was able to get everything in on a day trip.

Yep, it was bad, and I live in Miami!:confused3 My BF Husband couldn't take the heat either, he wanted to go back to the hotel after 2 hours! And they live an hour away from WDW!;) They even said never again in August.

However, they have a trip planned in Sept....they are Camping at FW....I WILL NOT BE GOING ALONG FOR THAT TRIP!

Count me in too...we just came back...trip august 11th through the 18th--it was miserably hot and crowded....
I actually told DH if I ever get the idea again...that he could say no way and remind me of it....we had to take a break every afternoon too--which is so very rare for us...we traveled with teenagers and they were asking for the breaks too!!
