Ok, my family and I love to camp, so I've been looking into this thread. :goodvibes We are DVC owners and thought it might be fun to do a night or two here on one of our trips. Could someone explaing the tent camping cost to me? Is it the partial cost?
Do you get a discount if you are a DVC'er? Thanks guys and Happy Valentines Day!! :flower3:

DVC owners here too...we are using our pts. to camp in March...with the pts. you get full hookup, even though we are only tent camping.

tent camping is partial. I'm not a DVC owner, so I don't know how the points work or if there is a discount.:confused3

DVC owner, here. No discount for being DVC when using cash ( or credit card ). You can book any type of site you want when using cash. You can only use your points for a preferred site ( water, electric, sewer, cable ) and just like the resorts, the points vary depending on the time of year. Preferred sites do have a crushed shell pad for tents. We have used points to stay at FW, and we have paid cash and banked our points to use toward a future cruise.

DVC Owner here also....If you want to see "the lay of the land" at the Fort, and you have enough points, why not book a cabin on points and check the place out from there.....?

I will need to warn you though, you will most likely be bitten by the Fort bug, and want to return again and again.

We ususally stay at the Fort each October in our RV for a week, and use our points in February for our "DVC stay" in the DVC resorts.
