Network with someone?

When you are looking at someones profile right above send message to ' name here ' it says network with ' name here ' what does it do? What is the purpose of it? TIA All

There is a place in your profile where you can have the avatars of your dis friends -- where it says, "My Network." To request to join someone's network, you can click on "Network with Disboard name" in their profile and they will get your message.
