I sent two movies back on Tuesday, yesterday, I checked my queue, and it said it had recieved back The Fog, and was shipping out Elizabethtown. It also said it had not yet recieved Just Like Heaven back yet, which I thought was weird, since I sent that back with The Fog. Later, that night after work, I checked my queue again, and it had shipped Elizabethtown, and Always Say Goodbye, which I also thought was wierd since just that morning it had said long wait. Anyway, this is kind of random, but does it seem like Netflix's queues are kind of disfunctional. Not that I'm complaining, I was a little sad when I thought I was going to have to wait awhile to see Always Say Goodbye, but now will get to see it in the next couple of days. But why would something say long wait, and then ship in a couple of hours?

How funny. I just sent back "The Fog" and have "Just Like Heaven" in my DVD player right now.

What did you think of The Fog? I didn't care for it and DH fell asleep watching it.

Like you, I don't see any rhyme or reason to Netflix's queue system. When movies are out in the theaters, I go ahead and place them in my queue. At first the wait is very long, but I always get them sent out when they're released, within a few days. I guess because I put them in my queue so far in advance, maybe I'm bumped ahead?

I have had the same thing happen a few times

I have just given up trying to figure out the Netflix queue. I just take it for what it is

Here's some insight into how Netflix handles their 'queues!'
They recently lost a class action suit designed to curb this policy but, based on our subscription, I think they continue to penalize quick 'returners' of popular DVDs.

It was allright I guess. I really had only wanted to see it because of Maggie Grace, I really like her as an actress. My EW magazine had rated it a D-, so I should of figured it wouldn't be that great. I had actually figured out the ending about halfway through.

The movie I saw the week before, Flightplan, was much better then The Fog in my mind. So was Just Like Heaven.

Simple. They received a lot back at once.
