-Its what we already have - its all set up, and I have 400-odd movies and TV shows queued up and ready to go. I would hate to have to start all over again. But that reason wouldn't apply to you.
-We use a Nintendo Wii for our NetFlix streaming. That's ALL we use, and Wii isn't yet one of the supported devices for Hulu. I don't want to view things on a computer or phone or have to buy a new piece of equipment, I want to watch them on my gigantic big screen TV (which is also not a supported Hulu device) so I need to be able to use my Wii to get them there.
we have both, instead of cable. And we all use them quite a lot. Hulu plus has the current shows, so I basically use this as my DVR, catching up whenever I feel like it. DH and I use netflix more for movies, but the kids use it for kids TV shows.

We have a PS3, so almost any streaming is capable on it. We've had netflix for a long time, and do watch it. But we recently downloaded Hulu Plus for the free trial, and my bf has found some of his favorite old shows (one's an 80's japanese anime) that were never available on Netflix, and not readily available any where else. So he wants to keep it for a while to see how it works out.
I prefer Hulu on the computer, just cause most the season shows I watch are available on it. Even then I still have to remember to watch them.
House
Raising Hope
American Pickers

Kitchen Nightmares

I guess it really depends what you're after. Are you after current tv shows that you like watching season after season? Or do you like curling up on the couch at night to watch a movie?
I have gone online to see the selections that both offer and I agree with you all who say that Hulu Plus is mostly for tv shows. Out of 1000's or so movies, I only recognized about 5, but I do like the TV shows that they offer.
I think I may do Hulu Plus and just go to RedBox for movies.
I haven't had Hulu Plus too long and am still evaluating it for long term. My issue with Hulu Plus is commercials. I could understand if it was free, but if I am subscribing its a whole different story. If your intended purpose is watching current TV shows then I would say choose Hulu Plus.
Netflix however has no commercials. If your purpose is to watch older TV shows or movies, my choice would be netflix.
