Nervous- Walk me through embarking

As Princess Shmoo said-take a deep breath! I am the planner for my family as well. it can seem like alot but being picked up from the resort makes this very easy. Everyone had plenty of good advice. If you forget or decide you want/need lanyards, they sell in the shops. Have a great cruise!

I know the OP didn't specifically ask this but: if you or one of your kids lose the keycard, you can go to Guest Services and request that the lost one be deactivated and they will issue a new one. Easy peasy. (My mom insisted that she did not need or want a lanyard on our first cruise, so I didn't bring one for her. Fast forward to day 2 of the cruise and she couldn't find her card anywhere. After spending at least 45 minutes checking everywhere in her room and retracing her steps all over the ship, we went down to Guest Services and got a new card. After getting the new card, we went directly to the gift shop and bought a $10 lanyard for her. That night when we got back from dinner, the towel monkey in her room was holding her old keycard. I guess the room attendant found it somewhere.
