My family and I are going on 11/29 - 12/4 and I am VERY anxious about the crowds that might be there. The first two years we went the levels were very low. This was during October and we loved it. There was practically no wait on anything. Now we want to try the holiday season, and we were told that the crowd levels were pretty low. But after reading through disboards, I am starting to get weary and very anxious. Does anybody have any positive info to help calm me down. Thanks in advance. :confused3

We went last year in mid December and it was empty (except for the Christmas Party - that was a mob scene). The rides were mostly walk on, or a 15 minute wait at the most. We had a great time!

Just started a thread on this earlier today. check out... to everyone who is going or has gone in December.

We went last year during this same time frame and believe th ecrowds were low. We did not wait for any rides and most were walk on even ToT midday. The numbers on UG are about the same for thsi year so I don't believe crowds will be a problem. We wil be there too. :teeth:

My sister has visted WDW for the last 7 years that same week (beginning the day after T-giving for 10 days) - she has always said that the crowds were fairly light, with the exception of the Christmas parties, and the folks in MGM for the Osbourne Lights. She was here the week between Palm Sunday and Easter this year, and was shocked at the crowds!!!!

You will have a great time! The weather is normally awesome as well!

We are going to be there the same time Nov. 29- Dec.6. We were there the same week 2 years ago and the crowds were great. Never waited more than 15 minutes and most were 10 minutes or less. We used Fastpass for RnRC, but the standby line was only 20 minutes. Other than that, we didn't use Fastpass. This year we plan to use it for Soarin' and EE. It's a great time to go, that's why we are going back! :thumbsup2

I'm going Nov30 thru Dec6, I think the crowds are going to be outrageous, I'd stay home all of you. :stir:

yep.

nuthin to see at disney that week. nope. unhunh. nada. zip. nothing. move along folks nothing to see here. :rotfl:

I guess I am the only one who thought the crowds were bad. We have been this time several years in a row. Last year was it for us. Way too busy. The campground was sold out. Waits for rides were 45 mins and some longer. We ride mostly kiddo stuff so maybe these rides have more lines then the big rides. Long gone are the days of no waits during this time. I believe the word is out about the best time of the year. I know the number in the Ug used to be 4 and now they are 6. The crowds were not as bad as Holiday's but still bad IMO. I guess I am the odd one out! LOL :rolleyes1

We went, I believe, the 12-18 and the crowds were moderate. Very good time to go IMO. The crowds are heavier during MVMCP, but that includes the locals as well.
