Nervous about using WeGoShop

I emailed the central florida WeGoShop to ask a few questions, and no one emailed me back, which is making me think maybe I should go with Garden Grocer, but I really wanted some Bud Light Lime delievered and GG doesn't get alcohol, right? Anyways, I may email them again, but wondered if anyone has experienced good customer service with them?

We used them in September...got everything on MY list made from the Publix market online add...got our beer, liquor, water, groceries... everything was as ordered no substitutions...called Marge's cell when we were on ME...she told me to call her back at check in and met us with our groceries 10 minutes later...$27.00 delivery charge..followed us to our room at BLT unloaded to table..she had her son helping her... and I had cocktails and pickies on the counter 30 minutes after check in....too easy!!!

I have used Marge and We Go Shop a few years ago and hope to use her again in September. She was great!

I'll try emailing again. I wanted to get the list sent to her early so we are sure to get our groceries the first night as we get in about 6pm. Good idea to call from ME since that takes about an hour. I'm excited to have a nice drinky before bed. And of course, fruit and snacks for the kids. We are on the QS dining but thought some extras would be good.

Too my knowledge, GG will deliver alcohol, it's not on the menu. I read that other's have called them for beer and wine and it wasn't a problem. We used GG and it was great, but we didn't order any alcohol. Maybe things changed, I don't know.

Oh, thanks for the info about that. I think I'll try WeGoShop but if I don't hear from them, I'll go that route. Anything beats using the shop at POR, I'm sure.

Considering that outside deliveries aren't supposed to be made directly to rooms combined with an earlier thread about people being hit up for more money at delivery would make me nervous about using wegoshop. I would stick with gardengrocer which follows the rules of dropping off at the bell services.

Maybe it changed since 2 years ago but we used Garden Grocer, not only did they deliver directly to our room, they delivered beer/wine & there was no request for add'l $$

I would stick with gardengrocer which follows the rules of dropping off at the bell services.

wegoshop will also leave your purchases with bell services....but I prefer them to follow me to my room and bring inside rathe than wait for bell services to bring them...Mage will also return if you need more during your stay...and she will only charge $13.00 for 2nd delivery. She did not ask for tip..I offered it gladly...so convenient...I believe her cell # is listed in ad but if not and you would like it I have it...we are going back in 3 weeks and I am absolutely using her again. the money I save on the first round of martinis that I can shake myself more than pays the delivery charge
