Nervous about electronic flight tix

Hello!

We are flying US Air. Going in late August.
Would like opinions on whether or not we
should trade those e tix in for paper tix? It's not a big deal for
us to go to the airport to do this.

Someone had a similar concern and asked within the past couple of days, so you may want to scroll down and find it so you can read the responses. Bottom line, though, is you have nothing to worry about. Etickets now account for over half U.S. domestic tickets. You'll be fine and you have nothing to lose or misplace with an eticket, but if you would feel more comfortable, just go to the airport and have your tickets converted to paper.

The only time I get paper tickets is in the winter. I'm flying from the Northeast. If you have an Eticket and your flight is cancelled you must get in line to get a paper ticket and get rescheduled. If you are placed on another airline you will need the paper ticket.

Also, with a paper ticket you can bypass the lines and head straight for the phone to rebook.

But again, I ONLY do this in the winter.

Thanks for the info. I DID locate the other thread. I missed it the first
time around. Well....one worry I can let go of!

I like the E tix much better.because If you LOST it...It can be replaced!!! I always just ask for and Itinuary...and they send me one!

even with a paper tkt unless its an unrestricted fare you will still have to have an agent transfer the tkt over to another carrier if you are going to fly someone different so that still means standing in a line somewhere along the way. ... e-tkts are pretty easy to use.
