Any help will be appreciated!!
We are going to DLP for first time in August. We are flying to CDG Airport and really nervous now as I have been told its a nightmare finding where you are going!?
Has anybody any tips on how we find luggage and then the VEA bus?
Is it signposted clearly?

Also, We have booked half board, do we need to book in advance at restuarants or can we do it when we get there?
Another question.. There will be myself, hubby and 8 year old, bearing in mind we are half board how much money would people recommend converting in to Euros!?

Sorry for the silly questions!!!

Don't worry, I'm sure between everyone on here we'll be able to help you out. Do you know what Terminal you fly into?

Here's a list of where the shuttles leave from and you can't miss them as they are big red coaches:
CDG Terminal.3 - in front of departure / arrival hall
CDG Terminal.1 - Arrival level-Gate 30
CDG Terminal.2B/D - Gate D12
CDG Terminal.2A/C - Gate A12/C12
CDG Terminal.2F/E - Gate 5 of the Gallery - Level 0, exit 0.09

When we flew from Bristol just before Xmas, you kind of just follow the crowd leaving the plane. You have to pass the luggage hall anyway so you won't miss it.

As for booking, you can do it in advance, or use the concierge in your hotel or go to city hall when you get there. If there's one special meal, ie Cafe Mickey's you might want to book in advance to get the time you want.

don't worry :) i felt the exact same way before i went last week!
Bagage is clearly signposted so just follow the signs :) After you get through baggage follow the exit sign and you will arrive in the arrivals hall :)

All of the coaches to Disney now leave from Terminal 2E/2F but dont panic with the exception of terminal 2E/2F you have to get a white VEA bus to to 2E/2F. These white vea buses come every 10-20mins at the following places:
CDG Terminal.3 - in front of departure / arrival hall
CDG Terminal.1 - Arrival level-Gate 30
CDG Terminal.2B/D - Gate D12
CDG Terminal.2A/C - Gate A12/C12

This white vea bus will take you to the right place and the driver will then escort you to the VEA desk where you can either buy your tickets or show your ticket you bought online :) I would suggest you buy tickets online as you are put straight to the front of the line! That's all you have to do :)

Sorry can't help with the half board question!!

Who are you flying with ?
Easyjet & Air France use Terminal 2, I seem to remember reading that Flybe have also swapped from terminal 1 to 2, probably due to their parnership with Air France.
Anyway it's incredibly easy to find the VEA pickup point from Terminal 2, whichever gate you come out of the building at, look to your left and you should be able to see the Disney buses at the farthest end.
Can't help with any of the other terminals as we always get a private shuttle and have gone straight to the taxi.

If it helps relieve your anxiety, I hate airports but am doing a trip just with my son in November, CDG is well signposted and on one of our trips I found a machine which you could use to get a small map printed out, you just entered where you were and where you wanted to be within the airport. :goodvibes

With regard to restaurants, you can reserve before you go, you can do it from your hotel room telephone, consierge desk at hotel reception, at the restaurant itself or by calling in City Hall on Main Street.

Money is a difficult one, you can spend as much or as little as you want at DLP, food and drinks especially can be expensive, if you're planning on having a beer or cocktail in the evening expect to pay at least 7 euros per drink. You can spend an absolute fortune on souveniers and your 8 year old will be spoilt for choice. I usually budget approx 15 euros each for snacks/drinks at the park during the day, I budget for around 50 euros each for our evening meal, but you've got that covered with your vouchers and then whatever spends on top, but to be honest we don't tend to bring back many souveniers now. :)
