Neon at dark

We're headed to DL the 8-11 of Oct. My 4yo DD is OBSESSED with Lightening McQueen. Needless to say, we will be spending some time in Carsland. My question is, what time does the neon turn on? I'd like to see it at least one of the days. We have dining reservations at AG at 5:40 one night. Would that miss it? We are coming from Aladka so my idea of when it gets dark is a bit skewed.

You could try asking a CM while you're there.
I think it happens soon after the sun goes down, so the time changes.

One point of confusion has been that the lighting happens before it gets fully dark. People who wait for the sun to drop below the horizon will miss the neon lighting.
