Nemo on the Magic...

Was thinking last night that with Nemo premiering on the 30th, DCL may just let us 5/24ers see it early. Think about it...the 30th is Castaway Cay day. Most everyone gets off the ship for the better part of the day. They can't do it after we sail as the younger kids do their show in the Walt Disney Theater, where they have traditionally premiered new movies.

SOOOO....that leads me to think that they may premier Nemo on our Thursday day at sea. What do y'all think?

Off to wash clothes...only 4 more days til we fly out! YIKES

I doubt it. Typically a new Disney release is premEARed on the cruise following the U.S. release. So with a 30-May release, I would bet money that it won't be on the Magic until the 31-May sailing.

I am hoping for Friday, May 30. We're on the May 24 sailing, and eagerly awaiting Nemo. For the Lizzie Maguire movie, it premiered in theaters on May 2, and was shown on the cruise on the same Friday. It is Castaway Cay day, but for Lizzie they ran a morning, afternoon and late evening showing.

Disney has confirmed that Nemo will premiere on the cruise on opening night of 5/30. They are also issuing a unique Nemo pin for DCL, just for opening night.

I stand corrected. I'm glad my bet was hypothetical and not literal.
