Nemo Musical Question

A couple of weeks ago I made an annual pass reservation for the 10:00 Nemo Musical this Friday. Are they even still doing that with the annual passes? Isn't it open to the general public now? Do I still need to take the confirmations they said I'd have to have to get in? Any clarification about this will be GREATLY appreciated.

And...is it still an "outside" theater? It's going to be cold!

First, its INSIDE - in a terrific building - all to itself, totally dedicated. No worries!

Second, what's happening from now through mid-January are soft openings, where everyone is invited, at various times througout the day.

No need to have a special invite.

Enjoy, it's stil got some rough edges, but it's fantastic!

I reserved for 10 on Saturday. Have they abandoned the AP "reservation" entirely? I wish they would have emailed us. I had planned a weekend trip specifically for this but I don't want to wait in a line for an hour just to get in.

I guess that's what I'm asking--are the reservations a totally moot issue? I've planned a special trip, too, thinking I had a reservation.

Im going this Fri at 10 and as far as i know i guess its only passholders well my mom called disney and they said u just need ur passes and the paper confirmation and that was yesterday...

Just returned last pm. On our first day at AK, Finding Nemo- the Musical was listed in the time guide at set times. We had AP reservations for Fri Dec 1 at 10:00. The time guides for that day did not list the 10:00 performance. That performance was just for AP holders with reservations. They checked our paper confirmations before allowing us in and did with every other person I saw. Even so, the performance was quite packed!

The show was wonderful, and the puppetry amazing! At first, I did find myself distracted by the puppeteers. I wasn't sure if I should look at the puppets or the puppeteers. It soon all just blended, and I fell absolutely in love with the show! The actors were incredible, and I especially loved Dory, Mr. Stingray, and Bruce the shark. The puppets (and their actors), the set, the colors, the music.... Loved it all!!

I just have to add my 2¢! I loved this show as well - we were fortunate enough to catch a soft-opening in November! I thought it was awesome seeing the puppeteers and the emotion that they put into their performance... I also thought the man who does Crush the Turtle was phenomenal - what an amazing voice he had!

We went last week and the 10:00 show wasn't listed as an actual performance and there were people checking the papers. There are 3-4 shows later in the day that anyone can go to and you don't need an invitation. It is totally enclosed so hopefully the heaters are working. The air conditioning was when we were there.

We just came back. We went to the Sat 10:00 AM showing. We almost missed it as there was an accident in the parking lot that caused a back up. We felt the show was awesome and amazing what they could compress into a span of 30+ minutes. There were a couple of microphone glitches primarily with Marlin, but overall worth the price of admission if you were buying a single day ticket. The lines were pretty long for those waiting for the other showings later in the day.

I will say that my DH was allowed to Join my Girlfriend and I during our AP preview. My Girlfriend and I do have AP's and had ressies DH doesn't but asked if he could join us after we had gone in and cm waved him in.

DH and I were at the Saturday AP review show. The place was probably more than half empty.
We did have to show our confirmations. And the CM actually read them, but did not ask for ID.
The show is great, BTW. I see it staying around a long time. I think it will be a big family hit!
I was also at AK last Wednesday, arriving in the afternoon.
We went right away to the Nemo show, not knowing the show times, etc. We just missed being allowed in for the last show of the day -- and it was standing room only.
It does seem to be open with a regular daily schedule.

(DH and I met up at AK. I was there at opening, and missed the car wreck in the parking lot. DH was delayed by that too. Not surprising of the wreck. That is a bad location. But seemed to be pretty bad. But I don't know what happened.)

I wanted to do the AP showing this week, but I thought it was over. I'm going to check back on the AP site, this would be nice. I've already seen it without the AP, but it would be nice to do without the long line.

Sorry to butt in here folks but I just noticed this thread and know nothing about the Nemo show. Could someone fill me in - where, how to get tickets etc. My daughter LOVES Nemo. Also on another thread I saw something about a ride with Nemo - would love more info!! Thanks.

.......Not surprising of the wreck. That is a bad location. But seemed to be pretty bad. But I don't know what happened.)

That's what I said to DW. Incoming and outbound traffic does a crisscross there and it takes just one person not paying attention. I saw one red car pretty mangled from the rear. There was a taxi and a tram there with no visible damage and various security vehicles. Not sure what hit the car as I was trying not to rubberneck.

If you can do it, I highly recommend the AP previews. The lines for the shows open to the public are very long, so if you don't want to wait in line for a hour, go to the AP preview. We just walked right in. The theater was only about half full on Wed morning.

This is a brand new show at the AK. Here is a cut and paste from WDW's AK website:

"Immerse yourself in this singing, dancing, big fish story! Transformed into an enchanted undersea world, Disney's newly enclosed Theater in the Wild is home to the beloved characters of "Finding Nemo." Be a part of this amazing on stage experience — the first time Disney has created a musical from a non-musical feature. With its live actors, larger-than-life puppets and original music and lyrics, this 30-minute performance is sure to delight your whole family!"

The Nemo ride is located at EPCOT and is called the Seas with Nemo and Friends. I'm sure your daugher will find the ride wonderful.

We did the AP preview at 10 last week. I wasn't able to reserve/print tickets ahead of time because we did not buy our passes until we arrived. We asked the CM checking tickets if we could go in anyhow just showing our passes and he let us. The theater wasn't very crowded and it was almost 10 by the time we thought of asking. I assume if the theater was crowded that they would have been stricter. On Wednesday we walked past the theater around 10 and they were inviting the general public in so I assume not many showed up that day and they were trying to fill the theater. The 10 show was not listed on the times guide. The show is great.

Finally, how do you go about getting tickets or passes for these AP previews? I went to the AP website but was unable to get any information on this (there was a link to the Nemo show, but clicking on it yielded nothing).

AFAIK, the "previews" for AP's are over. There was nothing "special" about the AP shows, except that they were "exclusive" to AP holders.

But the same show runs 3 to 4 times a day now, every day for all guests.

Show up to stand in line at least 45 minutes before show-time.

The show is very grand and fun and seemed to hold the attention of even young children, even though it is much more of a "Broadway" theatrical presentation than, say, the Festival of the Lion King.

The show's length is about 40-42 minutes.
