Nemo Musical problems on 11-25

We were so excited to see the Nemo Musical at AK. We were at the first showing of the day and there were lots of technical problems. For starters, the show started 10 minutes late. We assumed it was because there were people still flooding into the theatre. Finally the lights dim and the curtain opens, we see some sea plants floating around and then the curtain closes, and lights come back up. Take two, curtain opens, this time with music and Nemo emerges from the sea plants. Everything is going good until the scene where Nemo is caught and then there is an explosion with fireworks. The curtain closed and the lights came up. The pre recorded announcement said "Ladies and Gentlemen this performance of Nemo the Musical has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances."

Oh well, hope they get all the glitches worked out before our June 2007 trip. We were very dissappointed that the show "broke down". The first act was awesome!

We saw it the next day, and I don't remember explosions, or fireworks. Maybe that was the problem.

Yeah, there was a pyrotechnic firework explosion on the right side of the stage. If memory serves correctly it was right after the big net comes down and catches nemo.

I know what part you are talking about. And remember, the show is still not even "officially" opened (I don't think it is even "officially" soft opened yet). They probably are still working all the kinks out of the show.

We went to the 2nd show that same day and there were some problems but we got to see the entire show. It started about 15 minutes late and then there was a glitch about 1/2 way through. The lights came up and they asked us to remain seated and that the show would resume shortly. We waited about 5 minutes and it restarted w/o any further delays.

We were excited that we got to see the show. However, it did take up a good chunck of time. From the time we got in line to the time we exited the theater it was close to 1 1/2 hours. I was ready for it to be over by then!
