Nemo Musical Preview Dates Announced--UPDATED: SEE PAGE 3

The undersea world of the Disney-Pixar hit film Finding Nemo will come to life in a new musical stage show at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park as part of The Year of a Million Dreams. Cast Members and Guests can get a sneak peek at the show from Nov. 5-18. Specific show times will be shared with Guests in the park each day on the park tip board. Cast Members are welcome to attend these shows if they are Guests in the park.

Apparently it is from a Disney College Program Newsletter. I will arrive at WDW on 11/17 and we were originally going to Epcot on 11/18 but now we will go to AK for the musical. Just thought I'd let you now!

Someone that is a cast member of the musical posted this on wdw magic:

The show will run at least a couple of shows a day from the 5th on. We should be operational by the 12th. But the show will continue to change and evolve until it's official opening in January (with most major changes in that first week). It will be interesting to see how the audience changes the show. It is going great and you will be blown away!

Do the November dates posted mean that there will be no "soft" opening from mid November through December? Just wondering, as we are there in early December and had hoped to see the show.

We were wondering the same thing. We'll be there Dec.3-13.

i ASKED if it would be open on 11/21. A person from the cast said this:

We'll be at 7 days a week. So don't worry. See you in the 21st! My only advice is to not sit in the front. It is a grand and detailed show. (the most detail of any I have worked) A little distance will help you see is all. And believe me there is a lot to see.

He also said:

Yes, but the theatre was completely rebuilt and the new theatre, still called Theatre in the Wild, is now enclosed.

Oh boy. I can't wait till our trip in December to see it. I sure hope they keep it up and running until the "official" opening.

Plutofan1 - Thanks for the info. From your last post it sounds like from 11/5 there will be a couple of shows each day until the official January opening. That's really great news! We'll be there 11/27-12/2. I would really love to see this new show. It sounds like it will certainly be a different experience. Thanks again!

I saw on the AP site you can reserve a spot. I reserved mine for Dec 2nd!!
