Nemo coming to the Living Seas at Epcot =0)

WMPete has added some info and pictures of the new exhibit going in at Epcot.I thought y'all might like to take a sneak peek!

The Living Seas is getting a new look that highlights the film "Finding Nemo".

Here are some of the changes:
Outside the pavilion there's a grotto with sculptures of the featured characters from the movie. A motorized Nemo makes appearances, along with some amazing stiltwalkers who look like walking reefs. It's a perfect photo op.

Inside the Pavilion an entire section has been revamped to feature the sea creatures found on the Australian reef. You can't help but smile when you see tanks filled with the actual fish that Nemo, Dory, Marlin, Gill, Mr. Ray and the rest of the loveable cast are based on. The jellyfish tank is amazing, but don't worry, "Dory" is safely swimming in another exhibit.

Well, I was at EPCOT on January 24th, and we saw the 'Walking Coral' and motorized Nemo then. We did not actually have time to go into the pavillion, so I cannot tell you anything about the inside stuff.

The coral stilt walkers were pretty cool.

We just got back and saw the walking coral and nemo. I thought it was sooo cool. My kids were not impressed and my 3 yo loves Nemo. The one thing that bothered me was that the coral and nemo were with a park photographer tking pictures for sale and I felt really uncomfortable snapping my own pics. I would have been happy to buy but my kids were not smiling and were not happy with the living coral. We also saw the inside and again, I loved it but my kids - not too interested. They really loved the manatees and the dolphins. They Loved the turltle and the sharks (little) but the nemo display didn't really do anything for them and I thought they would love it. I guess you can never tell what they will like. They did love the outside nemo sculptures. They are awesome!

Lilo and Stitch arn't at EPCOT, but they do show up at MGM in front of the Sorcerer's Hat and near the Animation and Attraction, at AK near the bridge to Camp Minnie-Mickey, and sometimes in front of the Castle at MK after Cinderella's Surprise Celebration.
