Not sure what happened with their turkey, but the fire dept is here in full force. I feel so bad for them to have a fire on the holiday! They are all outside laughing so everyone appears to be ok.

I heard on the radio yesterday that Thanksgiving is the day with the most house fires. The busiest day of the year for fire depts.

Well they tried to deep fry a turkey on their deck. This did not turn out well for them or the people in the apt downstairs from the (who are not home and will find this when they return).


People arent that bright. Our decks are tiny.

Oh dear.. Well at least no one was hurt and it didn't spread like wild fire.. Scary stuff - fires are one of my biggest fears..

We had some friends who house caught fire 2 days ago

The one car did too and they are really down right now. We are surprising them with Thanksgiving Day dinner and some Cash to hold them over till they get settled. This is so tragic. I'm glad they waited to go Christmas shopping too, that would have probably pushed them over the edge

I dont know any of the neighbors we just moved here in Sept. BUMPASSES!!!!!!

In the late 80's there was a couple whos house burnt to the ground twice due to leaving the turkey alone and forgot it. They rebuilt the house two times in two years. I am glad everyone is ok. Happy Thanksgiving.
