It has a Kincade scene in the center that lights up and plays music! So cute.

Super nice.

But now what the heck do I give them?? I was going to do a bagel basket after the holidays- but that seems a little lame. Any ideas. They are an older couple that live next door to their son. So I am thinking food. Maybe an edible arrangement?

I'm probably the age of the couple next door - the bagel basket would be fine - Or a nicely done and wrapped plate of home made goodies - a fruit basket - Most people my age would much rather have consumables than anything that needs to be dusted ;)

I would love a bagel basket! I think that sounds like a great idea and something a little different from you usual gift baskets.

I just ordered a whole bunch of English Muffins from Wolferman's for my BIL. They are really good and I thought pretty reasonably priced. I am sure a bagel basket would be fine, too. As long as it is something they can both eat before it gets past its prime as opposed to 50 pounds of grapefruit or something, I'm sure it would be great.

I think the bagel basket is a great idea! Otherwise, how about some homemade bread and a bag of nice coffee? Summer sausage, cheese & crackers? I always struggle w/the neighbors too. They are so nice but we don't know them well and never know what to get them.

I gift my neighbors every year but I honestly don't expect anything. I just really appreciate them. I would stress over what to give the.
