Negative Seaworld?

6. Only visit if you get a flexticket or free ticket as I do not think the on-gate price is reasonable at all.

Considering you can get an Annual pass for just $5 more than the gate price, and even if you don't take them up on that, you can nearly always get a 2nd day free, I think the price for Seaworld is very reasonable. We paid the same as we would for a 1 day pass into a Disney or Universal park and went for 1 full day and 2 evenings, and could have gone back again if our trip had been longer.

Of course, if you only watched one of the Shows, then you probably missed half of the park. Did you you skip Rock n Rollercoaster because you'd been on it before?

Enright 78 - Personally, we love Sea World. Although we stay on-site at Disney, we always take one (or two) days to see SW.
We like the feeding bits - Stingray / Sea-lions / Dolpins / Sharks ! (Actually the misses tried to feed me to the sharks !)

If I remember correctly, the helicopter ride is Wild Artic - we did that when a Shamu show was on - virtually no queue.

Check out the 'acrobat' show - Cirque le Mer (I think). It's kind of a mini-Cirque De Soliel. A good taster if your thinking of seeing La Nouba.

My personal favourite - The Manatees I could sit and watch them all day.

I agree with you on the comment about Wild Arctic, vernon.

It's hardly a rip-off, we thought it was great.............it was a true simulation ( if you see what I mean ! ) of a ride across an Arctic landscape.

Aceman, you're a bit hard on Seaworld!!

The food was Ok but not memorable , Shame about Atlantis being closed, it's up there with the best of them for thrills.... I remember on our first trip to florida that Jaws was closed for re-hab, and I'd looked forward to it for years!! Mucho disappointment!

As for .... "Only watched Shamu show as I'd seen the others 4 years ago"................. on that basis there's not much point visiting anywhere twice !!

Still, at least you enjoyed the rollercoaster and free beer.
