Negative balance on "Disney Reward Points" account. How to rectify?

I requested and received my total balance of Disney Reward Points on a Disney Reward card. . .

Then I was able to get a discount on my fully-paid Disney resort room, the savings were credited to my Disney Visa, in which case, I'm supposed to lose those reward points.

We are cutting back on our use of credit cards and I wasn't planning on using the Disney visa anymore, but simply to ask that the credit be mailed as a check to us.

However, how do I pay back the reward points I now owe?

My guess is they will take them from your credit balance on your card even without you needing to do anything.
