I really want to srap/redo my kids baby albums and I see this one in my head all the time! I love the cover and idea but when I ask 2 different CM consultant what is inside they just say it is really beautiful but don't have much detail. They never have it in stock and can't open one because it is sealed (when some one orders it)
So...are there enough pre printed pages? Is it worth the price or would I be better off just getting an album, some of the refills and create my own?
I want to combine my babies first year calander, and baby book into one book. ( ijust saw the CM calander pages!)
So please tell me all about this album!

I just recently got this album from credit for having a party. Sorry to say that it doesn't come with any pages at all. You either purchase the "It's a Boy/It's a Girl" pages or just get some plain ones to do yourself.

I got the It's a Girl pages and some plain ones to put after those.

Hope this helps!

I usually spend most of my time just reading everyone else's great ideas, but I have to reply to this one. The first album I started when I began scrapbooking almost 5 years ago was a CM baby album!

Obviously you have seen the outside of the album, which is really cute and contrary to my fear (with it being white) , has not been hard to keep clean. The It's a Girl!/It's a Boy! pages themselves are all preprinted with an assortment of titles, etc. similar to those you would find in a regular baby book (pre-bound, like our parents might have had). For example:

My Parents
The Ties that Bind My Family Together (grandparents?)
Here I come. . . (pre-birth stories)
Showers
Greetings, Gifts, and Flowers
Here I Am!
Coming Home
I Am Raised in Good Faith
The World Around Me (places for prices, world leaders, etc.)
I'm Going Places
My First Haircut
Watch Me Grow
Plus, a cute family tree to fill out, decorated with pink (for mom) and blue(for dad) ribbons

The art work on each page features pink of blu gingham ribbons with different baby items: rattles, bottles, lambs, bonnets, etc.
All the art is similar to the boy and girl sticker packs you can also purchase.

The price for the album cover and these pre-printed pages is $55, just as it was even 5 years ago when I bought my daughters. The nice thing about the way CM packages it now is that for those who want a baby album, but not the baby book feel of these pages, they can purchase the printed pages with just ribbon deocration and no titles, or plain pages, and still get the cover. This is the reason this is the only album they sell that you can purchase the cover separately, without any pages pre-packaged inside. You make the choice of which album type you want to do.

I also purchased the calendar pages and loved doing them--for my one daughter I had kept lots of careful records. I am beginning my second album now, and do not have as much to record on the calendar pages. It will be great when my third comes along in January to have them to fill in as we go!

Hope this helps some. If you don't have another baby book, I would definitely go with this one! Or, if you have one that you can't put pictures in very easily.

Thank you so much! I was very confussed by what was in the book! I knew you could order special pages but thought the album would come with some preprinted pages.
I may have to save up and get this album. I do have baby books completed with all of the information but never liked it and I wouldn't put any pictures in them or really any momentos! The books I have are just that, books so I felt it would be pushed out of shape very fast...
I do have all of their pictures in pocket albums and it should go very quickly once I get started!
Thanks again!

I not really that big on CM items, but I must say, I have this album with the It's A Boy inserts and really like it. On the pages that don't pertain to him, I just cover with colored paper. The stickers and the pages make the flow nice throughout though. I'd say it's one CM product worth the $$.

Pammy jo, I think we are on the same wave! I personally love top loading albums but I want something for the baby album that is preprinted just write and add pictures. I don't want to create journaling boxes and do a lot of decorating! I have too many other albums that need to be worked on!
I think I am now sold on the pages but not sure if I want the baby cover! LOL! I need two! I love the new plum color album so I may go that route! Plus I like the idea of getting embossed!
Thanks!
