My middle school son needs to make an life-size iguana for his school's rainforest project. Does anyone have any fabulous ideas?
A few years ago, our older child had to make a lemur for this project. We took a sock monkey pattern and modified it into a lemur - using a black/white striped sock for the tail.
I can sew and I enjoy doing some crafts, though it has been a while since I've done much of it. I'd prefer a project without sewing though, since with that last project I probably did too much of it for him.
We were thinking about the possibility of using paper mache, but we are not committed to it. Any and all ideas are most humbly welcome!
Thank you!
