Looking for your thoughts on the following sit-downs for dinners. We're going for a quick 4 days (barely, more like 2 1/3 days and 2 full) and will have free dining. I'm turning 30 while we are there and also want to do a fun b-day dinner, that doesn't necessarily have to be at a park. Right now we have a one day base ticket and plan to do MK on my b-day, but that can all change.
Thoughts on....
Yachtsman Steak House
Wolfgang Puck's Cafe (menu really appeals to me)
Tony's Town Square
Fulton's
We ate at Tony's only once and that was many years ago. It was Ok at best. I think if you want Italian then I think you might want to try L' Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante at Epcot or the Portobello Yacht Club in Downtown Disney. If you want to eat in the Magic Kingdom then I would suggest The Crystal Palace or The Liberty Tree Tavern.
If you want a truely fantastic dining experence then I would try for The California Grill at the Contemporary. My wife and I went there for our 'Parents Night Out' during our last trip and were spoiled rotten by a great waiter. We really didn't want to leave and were astounded that 2 1/2 hours had past in the blink of an eye!
Happy Birthday and enjoy!
Yachtsman Steak House
-- Very good steaks, great meal! Wolfgang Puck's Cafe (menu really appeals to me)
-- Good meal but very, very LOUD!!! Tony's Town Square
-- Good meal, spaghetti overpriced, no booze . Fulton's
-- Never been, never heard anything good about it.
Pucks--crowded, but good.
Tonys-so-so Italian. And as noted, no alcohol available.
YSH-excellent steak
Fultons-worst service (by far) than any other WDW restaurant.
