This is a 12 day vacation from Sept. 16 thru 27th. 15 more days to go:cool1: Thank you;)

Crystal Palace- I have been for dinner and breakfast. I like breakfast the best. My favorite breakfast item was Thr puffed french toast.

Grand Floridian Cafe- We went for oour wedding luncheon and nobody really cared it. I liked the Tomato Soup.

Brown Derby- DH crab cake was good and my dessert was very good. I had the Banana White Chocolate Toffee Tower...it was sooo good!

Coral Reef- Best steak I have ever had at Disney (so far) Grilled NY Strip Steak - served with potatoes au gratin, and broccolini

Le Cellier - Cream cheese mashed potatos :)

Just a "heads-up" that the following places from your list are either family-style or buffet service, so you don't order specifically. You can sample as many or as little of the offerings as you like:

Tusker House
'Ohana
Boma
Chef Mickey's

In addition, Crystal Palace is also a buffet and is fantastic. We have to go once a trip (if you like cream of broccoli soup & they have it omg it's the BEST I've ever had :worship:)

Also, I owuld suggest listening to last week's (I think) podcast - there is a review of the Captain's Grill and it wasn't good at all. I'm all for going and making your own judgement, but it might be good to hear just for some background info.

I would also suggest the Cheese Soup - I have had this at the F&W fest it is delish & Mushroom Filet (I haven't had it, but I have spoken to many who love it) at Le Cellier

Narcroossee's --We loved the land and sea, the lobster tail was awesome, DH's favorite meal of the trip

Cap'n Jacks -got the lobster tail and it was good, DH also loved the crab cakes

Mama Melrose-Pasta in vodka cream sauce, breads and spreads, chocolate lava cake was good too.

Coral Reef *DS5 Birthday Dinner*-I enjoyed the NY strip

California Grill -Chocolate Vahronna cake (wrong spelling, I am sure) We had the filet for dinner, it too was wonderful

Sci-Fi Theater -burger, that's about it, milkshake

I know is a buffet, but what item on that buffet you like the most? :confused3 I don't eat much, therefore I want to have a idea of what to get on my first plate before I get full. (which is usually on my first plate):cutie:
Thanks

This is great!!! Thanks!!

Keep it coming!!!!!:dance3: :cheer2: popcorn::

citrico's-The gateau of crab is to die for, and I'm not that big a seafood fan. The Ribs with Blood orange demiglaze are also excellent. For dessert, I loved the seasonal berry gratin. It didn't look that pretty, but, OMG was it ever good. Also, my son loved the lemon cheesecake so much, he asked for a second one to go.

Kona Cafe DH loves the tonga toast. I have had the eggs benny and they were amazing but my favorite is the Kahuna platter with the best scrambled eggs, macadamia nut pineapple pancakes, amazing potatoes and I get it with just sausage and give the french toast to DH. You have got to get the pressed pot coffee is it insane

Captain's Grill The most amazing eggs benny ever. DH had the berry french toast and it was just ok and the buffet is terrible

'Ohana's Best Friend Breakfast We just ate here this past weekend, it was incredible! Full review and pics in my Aug link

Crystal Palace One of our fav breakfasts, great puffed french toast and the best strawberries with fresh whipped cream...YUMMY!

Grand Floridian Cafe We just ate here last week, I am head over heals with the shrimp pasta, DH loved his NY Strip and the dessert sampler was sinfully delish! Pics and review in my Aug link

Mama Melrose Ate dinner here once, not impressed, but we did lunch in June and it was pretty good. THe bread and dip sampler is fantastic!

Coral Reef Ate here many moons ago and remember that the steak was to die for, my inlaws all ordered fish and wish they got the steak that I had

LeCellier The mushroom filet with risotto, sauteed mushrooms and a side of bernaise sauce....it was perfect!

We have ADR on the following restaurant. Need you recommendation on what to order or what is the plate you like the most. Don't matter if is appetizer, main entree or desert. :thumbsup2 or all three:goodvibes

Breakfast:

Chef Mickey's *DS5 Birthday Breakfast* It's a buffet so whatever looks good. DS will get a Mickey decorated cupcake. Our 5yo only ate the icing. :rolleyes1

Dinner:

Narcroossee's I can vouch for the surf & turf lobster; I substituted Scallops for my turf and they were delicious also. Choweder and crab cakes are awesome if you have appetizers. Mango smoothie. Kids Mickey pasta "the best ever" so says our now 6yo. I had the kids banana split, good. The YOAMD Almond crusted cheese cake is amazing (several DISSERS plan to eat one there and get one to go) :woohoo: . I don't really like cheese cake, but this is..MMMM good.

Coral Reef *DS5 Birthday Dinner* We had lunch here, but a certain 5yo ate his entire pizza and all the fixins. Our adult choices aren't on the dinner menu, but they were great. We left nothing on our plates. Beware of the bread; it was a multi basket affair for us. :rolleyes1

Boma Another buffet, be sure to hit the soup bar on the first or second trip. It isn't too be missed and if you fill up before you have a chance to enjoy it that would be too bad.

This is a 12 day vacation from Sept. 16 thru 27th. 15 more days to go:cool1: Thank you;)

Hope that helps!

Breakfast:

Kona Cafe - Really disliked Tonga Toast, recommend Macadamia Pancakes
Tusker House - Breakfast Buffet - just take a little of what looks good
Maya Grill - Never ate here
Chef Mickey's *DS5 Birthday Breakfast* - Food was fine, nothing that I'd go rushing back for. They do have Krispy Kreme donuts on the breakfast buffet, so if you like Krispy Kreme it's a good place to get them.
Captain's Grill - Never ate here
'Ohana's Best Friend Breakfast - Scrambled Eggs, Potatoes and sausage. It's kind of like just eating at a regular restaurant with a VERY limited menu. Enjoy the eggs!
Crystal Palace - The breakfast lasagna was wonderful, not sure that they still have it
Boatwright's - Never been here
Whispering Canyon Cafe - Only had dinner here

Dinner:

Narcroossee's - Whole Lobster is better lobster than the Surf and Turf. I had the lobster last year and the rest of my family had the surf and turf. We sampled from each other and my party agreed that my lobster was better. You may want to have one order the Fillet and another order the Lobster and split to get your surf and turf.
Cap'n Jacks - Twin Lobster Tails and the Spinach and Artichoke Dip
Grand Floridian Cafe - Never been here
Hollywood Brown Derby - Never been here
Mama Melrose - Steak Gorgonzola - YUM!!
Coral Reef *DS5 Birthday Dinner* - Never been here
LeCellier - Most love the fillet, and I generally like it too. Though I have to chime in here and say that their new chicken dish is AMAZING!! They introduced it while we were there in March and it was fabulous.
California Grill - Never been here. Too scared of the horror stories about kids.
Sci-Fi Theater - I've heard great things about their burgers. If it isn't on the dinner menu - you can still order it because it's on the lunch menu.
Citrico's - Never been here
Boma - Buffet with a rotating menu. It's nearly impossible to know what will be on the buffet the day you're there. It was all pretty good and if you take small portions and have just a bite then you'll be fine.

Canada - must get the Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon - with wild mushroom risotto, white truffle and herb butter sauce. Unbelievable. the steak absolutely melts in your mouth. and definately get a side of the cream cheese potatoes.

Citrico's - the shrimp appetizer and risotto apps are unbelievably good. w
