To satisfy your curiousity, YES, other people do forget!

I work for an answering service, we do alot of doctors, and we get calls all the time because people don't know when they surgery is, what time it is, what date or where it is. It's pretty amazing.

Me: Good Evening Dr Jones office

(BTW in 9 o'clock at night in this scenario)

Other People: "Is the doctor there?"

Me: "No, I'm sorry the doctor is gone for the day."

Other People. "Oh, I think I am supposed to have surgery tomorrow
can you check?"

Happens all the time.

I find that funny also... I remember they called me to remind me that I was scheduled for my c-section, when I had Korben...BUT I had gone into labor early and already had him...funny.

My mom had a lot eye surgeries after her cataracts including getting buckles in both eyes about 7 years ago and she is fine now.

Does John have a check list for this week?

Suggestions:
1. Need to have emergency chocolate in the house.
2. Need to have cake----maybe a pirate cake
3. Have a designated Wii babysitter for your Animal Crossing game while you are healing.
4. Plans for your spa day. Plan a cruise.
5. John gets to have his favorite meal and dessert.
