Tell me about your dining experience at "Cinderella's Royal Table", your likes and dislikes? Just made a lunch reservation here for January, Now, I've read it's on some DISer's worst restaurant list. I would like your honest opinion on this restaurant. Thanks.

Well, I have only had breakfast there and I didn't think it was all that great. The interaction with the Princesses was great and we saw all of them:) However, the price I paid for the meal was not worth it..but that is my opinion...

lunch there a couple of times and will be going again on our next visit. The food is above average - not great. There was a recent thread that had me thinking and Major Domo's Favorite Pie is probably the entree I liked the best. It is relatively expensive for the food. There was a significant price difference between CRT and Askerhus. That's been narrowed since the photo package has been added to the Norway meals.

Overall I think the positives outweigh the negatives. The character interaction, in my opinion, is very good. I believe it's the lowest character to diner ratio on property. We had three or four princesses (Including Cinderella) the two times we've eaten there. My daughter is is princess crazy so that is very important to us. Eating at CRT is always at the top of her list of things she wants to do at Disney. That is one of the biggest positives for my wife and I.

We have eaten here a couple of times for Dinner and it was all good and would go back.

We did it once because we were hungry and there was walk up availability.

Wouldn't do it again. Completely over-priced, limited menu offerings and I have 2 sons who could care less about princesses.

I will be joined by my sister and her two DD who love character meals and princesses so we thought they would enjoy the experience. Plus, I've never eaten in the castle and thought that would be fun to do as well. I guess we'll going to stick with the lunch reservation since the princesses come around to the tables.

Thanks to everyone who wrote in and gave me their opinions.

Sounds like it would be a good experience for your party. We enjoyed it for dinner (loved the atmosphere and the food was ok) but we aren't rushing back to do it again.

Here is a recent review of dinner in the castle complete with some pictures of the food. I would save my money and go elsewhere, frankly.

For me, I enjoy character meals, and realize that the food is usually not the best, but it does need to be edible!!

Good luck and let us know how it goes. I wish the castle would go back to a regular menu and get rid of the photo package part of the price

I think lunch is good. The food and service was good, and you can't beat eating in the castle with the princesses. I wouldn't get worried about one person putting it on their worst restaurant list, I'm sure if it goes on long enough every restaurant will end up on that list.
