I saw the Time Travelers Wife and really enjoyed it.

We didn't care for GI Joe... the acting was terrible and there were too many errors (problems in the the nearly non-existant plot and scientific impossibilities). The special effects were cool but it certainly didn't come close to comparing to the latest Star Trek movie, for instance.

I'd choose The Time Traveler's Wife.
