My daughter wants an electric guitar for her b-day. I am looking at the Epiphone les paul and the sg400. I have seen a les paul jr. for beginners. My thing is, I do not want to get her something that she will outgrow in a few years. I know that the les paul would be with her for ever, but what is your opinion?

depends on how old she is...

If she's between 9-12 get her a jr one...13 and above full size...

i got my first full sized guitar at 13 and it worked amazingly...
