Need your help!

Okay, I probably should go ask this on the Resorts thread, but I feel like I'd get better help here!

The 45-day mark is coming up and we are still finalizing which resort we should stay at. Polynesian would cost us 500 more than the Caribbean Beach ($250 per person), and AKL would cost 400 more than CBR ($200 per person). Its my dbf and myself going, and we've both wanted to stay at Poly. This is his 2nd time to WDW and my 7th.

Now to throw a wrench: a trip to Hawaii would cost us if not the same as WDW (if we stayed at Poly) about 100-200 cheaper per person, depending on meals and exactly which hotel in HI.

What would everyone do?

Go with Hawaii (or another vacation that would cost a bit less), stay at Polynesian, stay at CBR? AKL is pretty much out of the question because I'd rather pay the extra 50 dollars and stay at Poly.

If you go to Hawaii this time, how soon would it be before you can go to WDW on a vacation?
Hawaii might be the better choice for relaxation. I see by your sig that you are starting a new job in August (congrats), so a laidback vacation beforehand might be your best bet.
That said, I would totally go to WDW because I just can't get enough of that place. But DH would vote for Hawaii.

ETA: If you go WDW, I would go Poly since you both have always wanted to. If you can afford the extra $500.

I would go to Disney and stay at CBR...but that's because I'm a huge CBR fan. I fell in love with the place last month. I also have no desire to go to Hawaii.

Well we talked about it and we took Hawaii off the list...we figure we can do that in a few years but we both have been excited about going to Disney (even though I was there last month) for a while now. We are leaning towards Polynesian because the grounds are beautiful and transportation would be much easier.
