Marrakesh
Alfredos
Coral Reef
Le Cellier
Beaches and Cream
Spoodles
Whispering Canyon Cafe

Please share what you think of my choices and any ideas you may have. It will just be two adults, my DW and myself.

Sunshine seasons! It was AMAZING we had half a rotisserie chicken mashed potatos and a veggie, they had other great choices!

Not sure about your other TS choices WCC was fun, but didn't do too well with my food allergies.

Love Le Cellier. Also tried Mama Melrose for Fantasmic package a few weeks ago - it was quite good!

San Angel in Mexico is not one I'd pick at all for the food. Definitely Le Cellier and Biergarten in EPCOT. Suggest Mama Melrose's for the Fantasmic package and Brown Derby for L or D another day at MGM. Marakesh would be fun to try (we have two teens and they aren't in the mood for that at all yet). You should be fine with your BOMA reservation's time frame. Also go to DTD one day and try out some of the restaurants there. You can go Cuban with Gloria Estefan's or seafood with Fultons--it runs the gamut. allearsnet.com will have specific menus on every place to eat within the World. spend some time there and try some really different experiences. You never know what will be a hit and a miss. :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

I know I've heard the good, the bad and the ulgy about San Angel but we want to give it a shot at least once. Thanks for the suggestions.
Anyone else?

I have seen pics of some of the food at Sunshine Seasons and it looked fantastic! Also, I think you could make it from AK to AKL in under 30 minutes tops- it looked very close by.
Spoodles is definately one I would want to try. You could eat there for dinner one night and then stroll the Boardwalk stopping by Beaches & Cream for dessert (I've heard questionable reviews about the actual food there. Dessert though is supposed to be top-notch.)
Le Cellier is wonderful. I've heard mixed reviews about Alfredo's mostly because of the crowded conditions. Maybe try getting the first lunch seating if you want to try there!
I second the notion of spending a day at DT Disney. I'm planning on Earl of Sandwich for lunch and Wolfgang Puck's for dinner! Maybe take in Cirque du Soleil after...
I'd definately try HBD and WCC and Marrakesh is supposed to be nice for couples.
Those are my random thoughts. Hope it helps!

Any thoughts on taking in a dinner show? Hoop Dee Doo Revue gets the most raves, but I think the Poly Luau sounds romantic and unique. I'd consider one of those for one of your free nights- maybe both! They're very different!
I don't know how adventurous you guys are, but maybe after eating at WCC at the WL, you could head over to the activities at FW. They have a campfire, hayride and movie (free!) every night. Sounds fun...

Hi there,

You'll have plenty of time to get to Boma from AK. And, last Tuesday we went and there were EMH so AK was open until 8 pm. AKL is right around the corner, it is about 2-3 minutes by bus.

Danny, I'll try to help if I can but I am Disney Dining Plan deficient since we haven't done that yet.

In no particular order here goes.
Yes, I think if you leave AK at 5:00 you will make your ASR at AKL in time.

What time is Fantasmic on the day you want to go? Usually, in our experiences the restaurants in MGM close fairly early. :confused3
Have you thought about leaving the park after Fantasmic and taking the ferry to the Beach Club and eating dinner at Beaches and Cream? It is soo yummy there. It is small and there can be a wait but it's worth it and I don't think it will be too busy in Jan.

And just MY suggestion but on Sat. since your flight leaves at 5:23 why don't you get a bite for breakfast, then you and your wife can go to Epcot and have semi-late lunch/early dinner at Le Cellier. It is much less crowded then at Le Cellier, food is still great, prices a little lower than dinner, and plus strolling around the World Showcase (and maybe taking one last ride on Soarin') would be a great, relaxing way to end your vacation IMO.

I didn't realize you could get the ferry from MGM to the beach club, how long would it take to get the ferry from MGM to get to Epcot? Would it be faster than taking the bus?
