Hello,

I'm new to the board and a beginner of WDW (haven't been there since 1998!). I'm hoping you can help answer my questions. Out of whim, DH decided to renew our vows on Jan 3, 2011. We are taking advantage of the memories package :lovestruc

Here are my questions:

1. we have dinner reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table that night. I won't be wearing a traditional wedding dress (thinking about a simple white dress). Can i wear that to dinner or is that considered wedding attire? can my girls (6 and 4 yrs old) wear their flower girls dresses?

2. is the officiant fee for a wedding vs renewal vows about the same?

Thanks in advanced and I hope you don't mind if i have any more questions :)

The dresses sound beautiful to wear to the Castle princess: and you would need to call about the wedding fee's as I assume they have to be booked in advance. here is to you both:love: and there are never to many questions :wizard:

Hi and congratulations from another VR bride!!
I think you should be fine in a simple white dress. Is it a short one?
The girls will certainly be okay in their dresses!!
Officiant fees are (I think) the same as for a wedding. I have Rev Tim Herring booked for my VR in May and he is charging $200.00. As the above poster said, get booking as the officiants get quite busy!!!
Good luck and feel free to ask if I can help further.

thanks for the quick replies!

i'm actually still debating between white or navy dress (college color), but it will definitely be short or more like tea length.

my girls have appts at the BBB that morning, so i'm also thinking that for dinner, they can even change back to their princess' dresses, which i think would be more park-friendly anyway

looks like a couple of officiants (disney's recommendations) will be available that day, now i just have to choose :D

The dresses sound fine. I will be getting married on Jan. 4th, 2011 (we didn't pick the 3rd as my soon to be FIL's b-day is that day). I was actually looking at buying a white summer dress for the parks also just to take pictures.

We booked with Rev. Jack Day and I heard great comments about him.

Have fun planning!
