Need your advice on CAA rates..

I posted this on the resorts board-but ya'll may have more info here..
Are CAA rates available year round?
We are travelling Oct of next year (value season--just decided we should go a day early!) and unless they release a code for the general public we will be out of luck on saving a few bucks.
If I can get a CAA rate I would buy the membership if it will
save me some $$$ on my room.
How much do you typically save with CAA on a moderate resort during value season?
Also I just read that you can now book for 2006..when do they take ressies for CAA..do they release rooms for this discount at a specific time, should I be calling now???

CAA discounts are available for most of the year (there aren't any discounts at Christmas). The amount of the discount varies by season and resort category. Mousesavers has a good summary here http://www.mousesavers.com/disneyresorts.html#AAA.

The discount for a moderate in value season is 20%. For a standard room that's about a $26 per day savings.

If Disney is taking 2006 reservations then you can make one with the CAA discount.

Thanks for the info..I was hoping that I would not have to wait for them to "release" caa rates or something like that!
