Need WOC advise 8/26

Please Help Dis-ers!!

DH & I are going to Disneyland next week with the express pupose of seeing WOC. We have dinner reservations for Ariel's at 5:40pm for the 9pm show. I just found out that the Disney Parks Blog had a giveaway today for a meetup that day which includes reserved viewing of the 9pm WOC. They had 300 winners; I'm not sure if that means 300 people total or 300 people & their plus ones.

My question: will this be a huge impact do you think?? Should we try to move our reservations to Friday 8/27?? I was trying to have the least stressful viewing possible. What would you do???

Hard to say. It really depends on your plans. I'm not sure where they plan to put them. I think I would move it.

My daughter & I saw WOC at the end of last month. We did reserved seating & had dinner at the Wine Trattoria. The reserved area isnt that big in comparison to the fast pass areas.
If I were you and it doesnt affect your plans too much I would change the reservation to the next night. The show is absoluetly amazing (coming from someone who had no intention of seeing it - my daughter "dragged me along")
and really needs to be seen with an uninterupted view. It would be a shame to spend that much money for dinner, then have to jostle for a place with 300(maybe 600) extra people.
Also dont listen to the CM when they tell you not to line til 8.30pm. We lined up at 7.30pm & got the front of the area- totally uninterupted view. We got a light spray from the water, but nothing bad.
