We are taking a family trip to Daytona Beach this summer. We have been to WDW many times before, but never to the water parks. So, we wanted to take a day trip to Orlando.

If we wanted to see both water parks, what is the best strategy? Should we go to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon first? What rides have the longest wait times and a must at rope drop?

I doubt many people do just the water parks, but hoping for some advice. Thanks!

I would recommend going to Blizzard Beach first. That park seems to fill up much faster. The one attraction at Typhoon that will have a wait later in the day is Crush n Gusher but the there are a lot of other things to do at Typhoon like Shark Reef, Wave Pool and Lazy River that will have no wait at all! When you get to Blizzard Beach in the morning go straight to Mount Gushmore and get Summit Plummet and Teamboat Springs out of the way--they are the most crowded.
