Need urgent advice-leaving in 1 day

We are staying at Lowes Portofino from 12th-15th Jun.So we get express advantage on HTL keys.We are doing both parks for 3 days.We are arriving Orlando at 11:00.We have to pick up rental car and then make a stop at walmart for some grocery.Then check in at HTL.By the time they will give us keys half day will be gone.So, should we use our 3 days from 12th-14th at parks (with express) or 13th-15th (so that we get full 3 days) but on 15th we won't have express as we would have checked out.

Pl. advice!

Also, which park 1st?

Does it get cold in the evenings?Should I carry light jackets and jeans for kids?

You will have express the entire day you check in and check out. So it is really up to you which days you want to use.

You don't need light jackets and jeans.

If you are checking out on the 15th you will have express for the day. It is good until park closing on check out day. Either way you will have plenty of time to do both parks since with the express pass you will be able to move right along. You will have to wait for Harry Potter ride and RipRideRocket since they don't have express. We usually checkin to the hotels around 11 a.m. on day one and go to a park and you will be amazed at what you can get done. However you decide to use your days you won't have any problems. Universal is nothing like Disney in having to go from early morning until closing. You will be able to take advantage of the pools and have time to relax. At this time of year there will be no need for jeans. I always carry a light sweater in case the air conditioning is really blowing full force.

Cold? In June? In Orlando? No..it's been very warm and the humidity is creeping back in every day. Overnight temps have been in the low 70s so you won't need any jackets. Remember...the sun doesn't set until 8:45pm or so.

OR SO. I feel like its 10 oclock when it gets dark! At least thats when my AC finally takes a breath.

But like everyone else has said you will have your hotel keys the entire first day and entire day of check out. You will want to take advantage of early entry for Potter so if you think you guys will hit the hay early tomorrow I would advise doing IOA first, US second, and double back on whatever rides you wanna ride the third.

If you don't think it will matter how much sleep you get then it's up to you. We're starting to get into summer when all the kids are out of school, not sure that days of the week really matter at this point.
