I was planning on taking my g/f to Disneyland on Friday November 13th. I just realized that Veterans day is November 11th. Does this mean that the crowd will be absolutly packed? I don't think kids get school off that Friday, but I could be mistaken. If any of you had some tips what you thought the crowds would be like then please let me know. Your help and guidance would be much appreciated.

I don't believe Veteran's Day will have that much of an impact on your Friday visit. However, Friday, the 13th is the first official day of the Holiday entertainment at DLR, and I would expect it to be pretty crowed in the late afternoon/evening.

We went a few years ago on Veterans' Day when it was Friday, the first day of the Holiday season. With the 2 of them coinciding, DL reached capacity. However, I think most schools take off the Wednesday for the holiday this year, not Friday, so it will be busy at night but hopefully not horrible.

hmmmmm maybe I should postpone the trip a week then. However, the disneyland Holiday set-up does sound romantic. I'm such an impatient guy I should wait a week, but I don't think its going to happen.

Thank you all for the quick replies. I'll be sure to let you know how the date goes :cool1:

Schools are out on Wednesday, not Friday. Just so you know. :)

Yeah, I think Wednesday will be the busy one. DL has extended hours for Wednesday (Veteran's Day), 8-11.

Schools here are not off on Wednesday, but are on Monday the 9th. Not for Veterans Day, just for something called Continuous Improvement Advisory :confused3

OK, thanks.....you're in New Mexico right? I wonder what the CIA is.....LOL

Schools in CA are out on Wednesday not Friday. Of course those are the Nor Cal schools but I think the So Cal schools are the same for this holiday. :)
