Need TSA Checkpoint help

Hi all,
I have a question for seasoned travelers. We are flying tomorrow morning and we are going to try to fly without checking any bags. My rolling suitcase is within the size limit to be considered a carry-on.

I know about the 3 oz limit on liquids/gels in a quart size zip top bag and I need to remove the bag and put it through the scanners at the TSA checkpoint.

My question is are Wet Ones/moist wipes in this category or can I just pack them someplace in my carry-on luggage? :confused3 They are sealed in a foil package (I purchased the individual pocket sized singles ones).

Thanks,
Jenny

Wet wipes do not need to be in your little liquid baggy. I have flown a number of times with a diaper bag, which of course has wipes. I have never been stopped or asked to remove them.

remember things like mascara need to be in your little bag also any liquid make up! lots of people forget about those! nail polish too!

Thank you for the reminder. I have my moisturizer, stick concealer, pencil eyeliner, blush and powder in the little bag (that is why not much else will fit in it.).

Forgot that my little bag also has my lip gloss and chap stick, stick deodorant, mousse and hairspray.

Thank you. I usually have a couple in my carry-on and the rest in my checked luggage, but since we won't be checking anything, I just wanted to be reassured that it was OK. When I was at the airport last week, I did ask about my disposable razor and they said that was fine to bring with me. But I forgot to ask about the wet wipes.

I think you only have to have your liquid makeup or anything gel-like. Powder, eye and lip pencils, powder blush and eyeshadow shouldn't need to go in there, they are solids.

You can take out the stick concealer, pencil eyeliner, powder, blush if it's solid, chapstick, and stick deodorant. The moisturizer, lip gloss, mousse, and hairspray have to stay in the 3-1-1 bag, but the other items are taking up room you could be using for other things :teeth:
