Need trip opinions please!!

This is for a future trip and I mean a future trip, but I'm a planner and really want to make sure I plan this trip out well that's why I'm doing so much research and hoping I figure it all out by 2010. We have several trips planned before that date though!

This will be a special birthday trip for my daughter and husband. My husband will be turning 30 and our daughter will be turning 5. We figured a great celebration is in order and disney is the place and we are hoping family can come and join us to celebrate both. We are part of DVC and own at SSR just for some backround.

Which would you do:
1)stay at contemp and have a veiw of the castle for 4 nights and then move to WL for 3 nights and have to wait a year till we got more pts to go back. have a few pts to be able to get a studio for MIL to come for the trip.
2) stay at our home resort SSR for all 7 nights and have plenty of points left over to do more trips in the next few months. have plenty of pts to have MIL and maybe another room for another member of the family to come.
3) Stay at GF for 3 nights and then 4 at WL and have basically no pts for anyone else to come and stay and have to wait a year till we got more pts to go back to dis for another trip.

Waiting a year is no big deal to us to get back to dis. And his mom is the only one we think that won't come if we don't provide a room. Granted she has some money and she might do it on her own so who knows.

Which would you do?? Do a special stay with veiw of castle or normal home resort??

Hopefully this doesn't confuse anyone and I'm just looking for opinions so I can try to figure out which I really want to do!

You sound SO much like me - planning wise. I have our next 2 trips booked and then trips for 2008, 2009 and 2010 planned (all in my head!)

Now I know how you're feeling about those milestone birthdays. 2009's trip is for my DD's 5th birthday. I am hoping to be able to stay in the main building at the GF for that one. We will definitely be at the GF - probably in a MK view room, but I'm hoping we'll have the means for the splurge to the main building.

For your trip, I think that you should do what is best for you and your DH and DD and leave your MIL out of the equation. If she wants to be there, she'll be there. It is not up to you to spend the points on her so she'll have a room (unless she has contributed financially to your DVC contract in any way). If you want to stay at the GF, then I say go for it - especially if you don't mind waiting a year for your next trip.

The CR MK view is another great choice, view wise, but I feel the CR is cold whereas the GF, Polynesian and WL are so warm and inviting.

Again, you need to decide how you want to allocate YOUR points for this very special trip! I hope I have helped a little.
