Need travel assistance from LAX to the GC, please...

Our family of 4 is landing at LAX at 11:40pm (Friday, 11/2) and departing LAX at 11:00am (Monday, 11/5). We are staying at the GC. Here is my research:

Super shuttle (one-way) is $56. With a shuttle departure of every 30-45 minutes, we could be waiting a loooonng time in the middle of the night. To return on Monday, they want to pick us up at 7:45am to be at LAX no later than 9am.

ExecuCar (one-way) is $82. Picks us up immediately and we would not have any extra stops. To return by 9am on Monday, they say no later than 7am.

A rental vehicle (mini-van or so that would accomdate 4 tourists & lots of luggage) would be about $125. There isn't enough pixie dust in DL to keep us smiling through a Monday am rush hour drive!

My questions:
1) Which departure time is correct to get to LAX by 9am on a Monday morning? SuperShuttle will have extra stops, which will take extra time.

2) I know that ExecuCar is pricey, but we will have been traveling for 7 hours, after work & school. Any other services out there to pamper us a bit?

3) Does this information sound accurate?

Thanks, guys, for your input. I don't want to ruin our weekend by a 2 hour trip to the GC or ruin our Hawaii trip by missing the Monday flight.

Hi Claudia!

1) You definitely want to leave no later than 7:45 am to be at LAX by 9:00 on a Monday morning.

2) I'd go with the private town car service myself, just to avoid the hassle of extra stops. I don't have any specific ones to recommend though.

3) Yep, all of your info sounds correct! I'd definitely err on the side of being EARLY at the airport if you can, though, they are adding National Guardsmen checkpoints to the already tight security at LAX, starting this weekend, and who knows how much more time that will add to the process.
