Need to VENT! Is it just me????

I'm have been trying to be so possitive, but I have been over on the Resort and Theme Park Boards and man there are some people who need to be visited the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future! OMG! There are a few people (no names, don't want to stoop to their level) that NO MATTER what a poster is writing about, good, bad or indifferent they seem to always come back and hammer the poster. You would swear that they work for Disney and are trying to make examples out of someone who just wanted to post and experience or enlighten us to situations. These people seem to think they are the ONLY person that knows ANYTHING! You know a real Know it ALL! Their way or the Highway. I really feel sorry for these people, but why do they get their kicks out of trying to make someone else feel bad about things. Again, it doesn't have to be a bad topic they seem to turn the good ones bad as well. I just love it when they speak out of line like they where standing there with a poster while what happened to them happened. I just don't get it. Sorry, I am taking a brake from these boards. I may leave in 39 days, but I don't want to get bummed out by a few moron that don't have anything nice to say. Even when first timers or newer people aske questions about resorts and stuff these people go off on them like they should know where to look or should already know the answer. I guess their Parents didn't teach them that if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all.

I know what you mean - there are some real sticklers over on those threads. With very very STRONG opinions. I take them with a grain of salt.

I recently used the "ignore" feature for the first time. It makes things much nicer as I don't have to read the "I know everything and everyone is inferior to me" posts.

Sorry that you have had a bad experience lately OP. I have found that I just have to take everything here with a grain of salt. I know the posters that really offend me and try to avoid threads they have posted on. Don't leave us altogether though, some great info is here, and some great people as well.

Yeah, this can get rather annoying sometimes. I really hate when they go into the "I heard from someone who knows someone who works at WDW, and they said this", and they take that as the absolute truth. And if you try to present your own thoughts and opinions, they just come back with "didn't you read what i just said? My friend's friend told me this, so how could it be anything else?" They never back it up with any facts, and they are completely blind the fact that maybe, just maybe, this secret source could be wrong.

I have found that true of several boards from time to time...I agree with the poster who said to use the ignore button...works great for me!!!
