I am interested in purchasing points for a trip to WDW in May (8th -11th or 12th). I have only recently found out about the ability to rent the points from a member. I want to stay at the Wilderness Lodge Villas, but that is still up in the air (If anyone has a suggestion for another resort, I would be happy to hear it). We are making the final decisions at Christmas and I would like to bring up this option. I have looked at the cost for a studio for these days and how many points it would require (52 for 4 nights, I think). I am very interested in this possibility.
I have 1 issue, however, that someone may be able to help answer. We are planning on bringing 3 adults, 1 preschooler, and 1 teenager. The studios and 1 bed rooms, though, say they only sleep 4. Will they have a problem if we sneak 1 in, keeping in mind that the discomfort of sleeping 5 in a room for 4 is not an issue (good chance Ill spend a few nights on the floor). Also, I was wondering if members have any discounts for tickets that could be transferred to us or, if not, what your suggestion would be in the way of tickets to the parks. I have read that ticketing will be changing at the start of 2005, so this may be a moot point. But I have heard that there is a possibility of extending the benefits of other resort guests to DVC guests (such as Ultimate Park Hoppers and the dining option, which is something I am interested in). We will be making our final decisions, most likely, this week, so I hope to be able to begin making arrangements shortly after the 1st. I appreciate any answers that anyone can give me.
