Need To Pick Your Brains . . .

Need your help peeps! I'm doing a charity fireside quiz and I'm stuck on one question. The topic of the quiz is proverbs and sayings and basically you are give the first letter of each word and have to work out the rest. I've checked out a host of websites but can't get anywhere near this one;

That sure looks like what I'm after! My apologies for leaving out the 'do' but I must have overlooked putting it in since it was the only word I could get for sure. Mega thanx to all who tried to find the answer, and here's hoping all the others who have entered this quiz have every bit as much trouble finding it as we did!!
