So even if for some reason the MB's go glitchy as some said they have- I should still be able to use my RFID tix anyway because the FP+ would be linked to them, right?

For the sake of accuracy, the RFID tickets are linked to your MDE files, which contain your FP+ reservations.
So yes, you can use your RFID tickets for park entry and to access your FP+ reservations.

In September we had magic bands and they just worked (for park entry, room door, charging, everything) without taking them to the front desk. We did use them on DME, so maybe that did something to activate them, but we did not have to do anything else.
